Foundations

Foundations classes are practical, biblically-based courses offered between worship services from 9:15-10:15 AM. These courses for adults, students, and children are designed to equip us as a community of faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

A special message to the family at Holy Cross from, Rico Tice, the author of Christianity Explored.

Essential Christianity

The Great Hall

What’s the Christian faith all about?

Maybe you’ve been in church your whole life but you're still not exactly sure. Maybe you are considering the Christian faith for the first time and you would love to know more.

Join Rev. David Cumbie and the Rev. Dr. Kendall Harmon this Fall as we consider together the essentials of the Christian faith. Using the Christianity Explored curriculum and the Gospel of Mark, we will consider:

  • September 15 — Good News
  • September 15 — Identity
  • September 29 — Sin
  • October 6 — The Cross
  • October 13 — Resurrection
  • October 20 — Grace
  • October 27 — Come and Die

Nursery is provided during Foundations for children 6 weeks - 24 months. Please register to let us know!
